Onna Ford, NP

Onna Ford is a family nurse practitioner. Onna provides episodic, acute, and chronic health care for patients throughout their lifespan. Her special areas of interest include preventative health care of the family including sexual health, women’s health, and pediatric health. Onna is passionate about empowering patients to make informed healthcare choices that are best suited to their families and providing holistic care. She joined Premier Health Network in 2023.

Onna earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from The University of Illinois in Chicago and her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from St Xavier University. Prior to joining Premier Health Network, Onna worked as a nurse for over 30 years in public health nursing, obstetrical nursing, pediatric nursing and as a family nurse practitioner at a faith-based clinic for the last 10 years. Currently, she is an Associate Professor in Nursing in Chicago.
